Real Madrid scored what will surely go down as one of the most expensive goals - if not the most expensive - in football history during Saturday's match against Espanyol, with Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez combining to give Los Blancos a 1-0 lead.

Bale (€91 million), sent a long cross-field ball for Ronaldo (€94 million), whose first-touch pass hit James (€80 million) perfectly in stride before the Colombian slid the ball home.
