Barcelona announce Neymar will miss match vs. Getafe

Neymar's wonky left knee will keep the Brazilian superstar out of the Barcelona squad for their match against Getafe.

The club announced Neymar will remain in Barcelona as a precaution when they travel to Madrid for Saturday's match.

His left knee became bothersome during Friday's training session and complained to the team's medical staff about the persistent pain.

Manager Luis Enrique didn't want to risk further injury and took provisions in order to protect the long-term health of the 22-year-old.
