Teenage defender Jose Gimenez wasn't brought to Atletico Madrid for his goal-scoring prowess, but the Uruguayan centre-back can strike a ball with some serious pace.

Taking on Elche in La Liga action on Saturday, Atleti took an early lead in the 16th minute when Gimenez, 19, scored his first goal since arriving at the Vicente Calderon by blasting a shot past 'keeper Przemyslaw Tyton to cap off an excellent passing sequence.
