Real Sociedad are in talks with Arsenal regarding the future of forward Carlos Vela.
AS reports that representatives from the Spanish club are in London to speak with Arsenal, in hopes of taking full ownership of Vela's rights.
Football Espana explains:
Arsenal will be able to sign Vela for €4.2m up until July 1 and are said to want €8m, potentially rising to €10m, for their 50% share of the Mexican.
La Real are ready to make Vela’s the club’s highest-paid player on a contract worth between €2m and €2.5m that would run until 2018.
Vela was officially transferred to Real Sociedad in the summer of 2012, but the Gunners have a buy-back clause on the 25-year-old that activates this summer.
