FIFA extend Ballon d'Or voting deadline

FIFA has extended Ballon d'Or voting to Nov. 29. 

Critics believe the decision to move the voting deadline was made in order to favour Cristiano Ronaldo over the contenders, which include Lionel Messi, Franck Ribery and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. 

The previous deadline had been Nov. 15. 

Ronaldo's spectacular performance versus Sweden is bound to weigh heavily on the voters.
