Champions League final delayed amid chaotic scenes outside Stade de France
Saturday's Champions League final was delayed by 37 minutes because of issues admitting fans into the Stade de France.
UEFA said it pushed back the originally scheduled 3 p.m. ET kickoff time to accommodate fans arriving late. It then cited "security reasons" for the delay.
Many fans feared for their safety while waiting in "huge" lines outside the stadium, The Associated Press' Rob Harris reports. Images showed throngs of Liverpool fans - potentially in the thousands - standing in a tight area for hours awaiting entry to the stadium

People are now jumping over gates to get in the stadium in Paris.

Many of the fans stuck in lines arrived in Saint-Denis several hours prior to kickoff time. BBC Sports reporter Phil McNulty said tension began to grow when a bottleneck emerged near an underpass.
A large number of supporters remained in line as the game kicked off.
Liverpool have requested a formal investigation into the "unacceptable" situation.
"This is the greatest match in European football and supporters should not have to experience the scenes we have witnessed tonight," the club said.
