The joy of saving a penalty was completely forgotten after Slovakia goalkeeper Martin Dubravka scored an own goal for the ages during Wednesday's clash with Spain.
Shortly after denying Alvaro Morata's penalty, Dubravka was at the center of one of the most bizarre own goals in the history of the Euros after a disastrous clearance attempt.
Instead of knocking the ball over his crossbar, Dubravka botched the clearance attempt and, instead, punched it into his own net to give Spain a 1-0 lead. Spain added another goal just before halftime.
