Real Madrid did it again.
Down to 10 men and trailing 3-1 with less than five minutes remaining against Las Palmas on Wednesday, Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to rescue what could prove to be a massive point in the title race for Los Blancos.
The photogenic Portuguese slotted a sweet penalty into the top corner to reduce the deficit to one in the 86th minute, then equalled proceedings with a trademark header from a corner kick three minutes later.
With the draw, Madrid trails Barcelona by a single point for top spot in La Liga, though the capital-based side does still have a match in hand on the Blaugrana.
