Iniesta to miss Eibar clash with minor calf injury
Andres Iniesta will miss Saturday's match against Eibar because of a minor calf injury, Barcelona confirmed Friday.
Barcelona did not not specify a timetable for his return, as the club's statement could only reveal Iniesta's future availability will "depend on how the injury progresses."
Iniesta suffered the ailment in the first leg of this week's Copa del Rey quarter-final against Real Sociedad, in which he was substituted at half-time.
A knee problem forced Iniesta to spend six weeks on the sidelines at the start of the campaign, but he has since become one of Luis Enrique's most reliable men.
Barcelona dropped points in five of the 10 matches it has played without Iniesta in the lineup this season.
The Blaugrana are currently only two points behind La Liga leader Real Madrid, although the capital club has a game in hand.
