Griezmann prefers La Liga or Premier League, rules out PSG move

If he had to leave La Liga, Antoine Griezmann admitted that the Premier League is the only other competition that suits him.

Though he insisted he is content with life at Atletico Madrid, Griezmann revealed that he is intrigued by a possible move to England if he were to ever leave the capital-city outfit.

The French forward also reiterated that he is not interested in a move to his homeland to join Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, nor in possible transfers to Atletico's biggest La Liga rivals, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

"I cannot go to Real - there is a pact between the two clubs that prohibits a transfer," he said during an interview with France's Telefoot, as translated by Jonathan Johnson of ESPNFC. "At Barca, there is no pact but their front three are indispensable."

He added: "PSG? It is an interesting possibility but Ligue 1 does not interest me for now," Griezmann said. "I would prefer to stay in La Liga or go to the Premier League."

Though he's struggled with a couple of niggling injuries to begin the season, the 25-year-old is a primary transfer target for some of Europe's biggest clubs after seemingly being the target of rumours on a daily basis.

A season after leading La Liga with 22 goals, Griezmann finds himself atop the leaderboard once again with six goals through 11 matches.
