Another year, another bag full of goals for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real Madrid's marquee marksman broke the 50-goal barrier for the sixth consecutive calendar year on Saturday, with the Portuguese netting a decisive brace in his side's 2-1 win over Sporting Gijon.
After sliding home a penalty in the 5th minute of the contest at the Bernabeu, Ronaldo thumped in his 51st tally of 2016 - and league-leading 10th of the current season - with a classic, emphatic header.
Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored 28 headed league goals since 2012/13; at least 5 more than any other player in Europe's top 5 leagues. pic.twitter.com/rujvt6VTO4
