Galatasaray, who had three managers last season and finished a disappointing sixth in the Turkish Super Lig, won the Turkish Cup on Thursday but Colak didn't play.
"The player will go on holidays before joining us for pre-season training," Deportivo said.
Colak, 25, spent the last seven seasons in Galatasaray's senior team after a spell in its youth academy, making 132 appearances in all competitions for the Turkish giant.
