By the numbers: A glance at Barcelona's 24th La Liga title
More than a club, Barcelona snatched its 24th La Liga with numbers that are more than impressive.
Knowing that victory Sunday at Granada CF would add yet another trophy to its cabinet at Real Madrid's expense, Barcelona produced a 3-0 victory to emerge victorious in La Liga for the second season in a row. A hat trick was tallied by Luis Suarez to seal the crown for the Blaugrana, and celebrations at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes were short-lived when the Catalan club's players were mobbed by photographers, supporters, and others on the pitch after the final whistle.
