Louis Buffon, the son of former Juventus and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, made his professional debut aged 17 on Sunday for Pisa in Serie B.
The younger Buffon, a forward, came on in the 84th minute of his team's 3-2 loss to Spezia after being called up by coach Filippo Inzaghi, who played alongside his father for the national team.
Pisa are second in Italy's second division and looking to return to the top flight for the first time since 1991.
But the teenage Buffon, who was born in Turin, recently chose to represent the Czech Republic, where his mother is from, and last month earned a call-up to the under-18s.
