Bologna bring in Dutch forward Dallinga to replace Zirkzee
Bologna have signed Dutch international forward Thijs Dallinga from Toulouse, the Serie A club announced on Tuesday.
Dallinga arrives in northern Italy for a reported fee of 15 million euros ($16.3 million) and as a replacement for countryman Joshua Zirkzee, who left for Manchester United earlier this month.
The 23-year-old, who has one international cap, had two successful seasons at Ligue 1 outfit Toulouse, scoring 37 goals in all competitions, including a brace in last year's French Cup final victory.
The French Cup thumping of Nantes brought Toulouse's first major honour since being founded in 1970.
Bologna begin an exciting season, in which under new coach Vincenzo Italiano they will make their debut in the modern Champions League, against Udinese on August 18.
