Napoli sign Demme from RB Leipzig for reported €15M fee

Milan, Jan 11, 2020 (AFP) - RB Leipzig's Germany international Diego Demme has signed for Napoli, the Serie A club announced on Saturday.

The 28-year-old midfielder has signed a five-year deal reported to be worth 15 million euros ($16.6 million).

Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed the signing in a tweet: "Welcome Diego!"

Demme, who has played once for the German national team in 2017, joined Leipzig in 2014 having previously played for Arminia Bielefeld and Paderborn.
