Report: Bayern closing in on €5M loan for Inter's Perisic
Bayern Munich appear close to ending their summer search for reinforcements on the flanks.
Inter winger Ivan Perisic is close to a loan move to the Bavarian capital, as Bayern are set to sign the Croatian on a €5-million, one-year deal with a €20-million club option to make the switch permanent, according to The Guardian's Fabrizio Romano.
Perisic, 30, was not included in Antonio Conte's squad for a preseason tune-up versus Valencia, prompting rumors his four-year spell at the San Siro is nearing its end.
Bayern have been linked with several wingers this summer as the club looks to mitigate the departures of veteran wide men Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben. A left-winger by trade, Perisic would provide cover for the oft-injured Kingsley Coman and Canadian teen Alphonso Davies.
Manchester City star Leroy Sane and Ajax's Hakim Ziyech were both associated with summer moves to the Allianz Arena. Sane suffered a torn ACL in the Community Shield victory over Liverpool and is set to miss no fewer than six months, and Ziyech agreed to new terms with the Champions League semifinalists Friday.
