Vincent Kompany is back in the mix for Belgium after regaining his place in Manchester City's defence over the latter part of the season.

The 31-year-old hasn't represented his country since a Euro 2016 qualifier against Estonia in October 2015, after a series of injuries hampered his last three seasons. Following some assured performances for Pep Guardiola's side over nine of the final 10 matches of City's season, however, he's making an international comeback which previously seemed unlikely.

The 27-man squad for next Monday's friendly against Czech Republic and a World Cup qualifier in Estonia four days later also features Monaco new boy Youri Tielemans, and a return for Eden Hazard after he missed March's meet-up with a calf concern. The Chelsea star will retain the captain's armband.

Under Roberto Martinez, Belgium sits atop Group H for 2018 World Cup qualification, having won four and drawn one so far.
