PSG's Ibrahimovic refuses to rule out Serie A return
With his contract set to expire in June, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left the door open for a return to Serie A.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar has added fuel to speculation he could be on his way back to Italy's top flight on a free transfer following his vague answer concerning his return to Serie A.
"A return to Italy? I have three months left here at PSG, then we'll see," the Swedish striker told Premium Mediaset, with translation from Sky Sports.
Ibrahimovic, who hasn't played in Italy since 2012, played over five years in the Serie A, including stops at Juventus, Inter Milan, and AC Milan.
However, PSG teammate Thiago Silva isn't convinced Ibrahimovic's time with the French champions will end at the conclusion of the season.
"It is hard, because it does not concern me," Silva said. "I do not know what is going on in Ibra's head nor do I know what is going on in the head of the president.
"But, with everything that he has done this year, Ibra has given the president a choice to make. To have a player like him, he is indispensable. I know that the president is intelligent and will extend his contract … if Ibra wants to."
