Marseille reaches agreement in principle for Karim Rekik of Manchester City
Karim Rekik is set to cross the English Channel.
Olympique Marseille reached an agreement in principle with Manchester City on Tuesday that will see the 20-year-old centre-back join Marcelo Bielsa's side on a permanent basis, subject to a medical.

Rekik spent the last two seasons on loan at PSV Eindhoven. The 2014-15 Eredivisie campaign saw him average 1.8 tackles per game, 1.7 interceptions per game, and 4.8 clearances per game through 29 appearances.

The youngster also surpassed the 50-game milestone in the Eredivisie last season and subsequently set an impressive record.
