Lyon signs Christophe Jallet from Paris Saint-Germain

Lyon announced Wednesday that they have completed the signing of fullback Christophe Jallet from league rivals Paris Saint-Germain.

Jallet, 30, had been a constant figure in the French capital during his five-year stint with the club, even serving as the team's captain prior to the arrival of Thiago Silva. But his influence began to wane, as he made just 13 league appearances this past year.

That, combined with reports that PSG are set to sign promising young Ivorian right-back Serge Aurier, sees the Frenchman on his way to the Stade de Gerland.

The fullback will be presented to the team's fans later tonight, ahead of a pre-season friendly between Lyon and Sevilla.
