Michy Batshuayi moved a step closer to making his reported move to Chelsea official after revealing his transfer away from Marseille will be made official on Sunday in a farewell message to his fans.
Just days after reportedly passing a medical with the Premier League outfit, the 22-year-old took to social media bid farewell to the fans that have supported him since 2014.
"It will be made official tomorrow, I will be leaving Olympique Marseille this summer,'' Batshuayi confirmed.
The Belgian international, who scored one goal for the national team in France before the Red Devils lost to Wales in the quarter-finals of Euro 2016, went on to thank the team for giving him the opportunity to ply his trade at a top club and for helping him evolve as a player.
Though he did not disclose which team he will join next, it's believed that Batshuayi will be confirmed as Chelsea's newest arrival in a transfer expected to cost the English side £33 million.
