Memphis Depay and Jeff Reine-Adelaide both ruptured an anterior cruciate ligament during Lyon's 1-0 home defeat to Rennes on Sunday.

The ailing Ligue 1 club is forecasting absences of "at least six months" for the pair, meaning Depay is under serious threat of missing the Netherlands' Euro 2020 campaign. Reine-Adelaide, 21, has yet to debut for France's senior squad.

Lyon's statement said the players' operation dates would be confirmed in the coming days.

Depay, who captains Les Gones, has weighed in with nine goals and two assists in league play. He scored five times across five outings as Lyon progressed from Group G in the Champions League. Reine-Adelaide, meanwhile, is a regular fixture on the team since his move from Angers in mid-August.
