Lance Stroll: Zero points in Miami
Stroll finished 17th in the Miami Grand Prix F1 race at Miami International Autodrome on Sunday.
Analysis:
Stroll came under scrutiny in China for causing a pile-up, though he was on the other side of bad fortune in Miami. Aston Martin teammate Fernando Alonso crashed into him on the opening turn of the sprint race, a collision that caused enough damage to force him to the garage. Stroll then rebounded to out-qualify Alonso while beginning 11th on the grid, though he lost track position after pitting just a few laps prior to a Safety Car was deployed. That compromised his race and pushed him to a non-points finish for the third consecutive grand prix.
