Kevin Magnussen: Multiple Penalties in Miami

Magnussen finished 19th in the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Miami International Autodrome on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Haas F1 veteran would have a dreadful day on the Miami International Autodrome circuit. Magnussen would race up to 13th-place at one point prior to pitting, but that would be the high water mark of the day. His contact with Logan Sargeant on lap 28 would bring out the safety car and inflict a 10-second penalty. He would also receive a 20-second time penalty for pitting under the safety car and not taking on tyres. Magnussen would become mired in 19th-place and ride there until the checkered flag.
