Pierre Gasly: Best Result of the Season

Gasly finished 12th in the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Miami International Autodrome on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Gasly would start 12th on the grid and engage in a nerve racking lap 1 battle with teammate, Esteban Ocon. He would soon get clear of his teammate and slug it out with other competitors in the mid-pack. Gasly would pit on lap 13 for fresh tyres and continue the fight until the lap 28 safety car for a Kevin Magnussen / Logan Sargeant tangle. The Alpine veteran would hold off a fast-coming Oscar Piastri in the closing laps and would secure his best finish of the season, P12 in the Miami GP.
