Max Verstappen: Wins Miami GP Pole

Verstappen won the pole for the Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Miami International Autodrome Saturday afternoon.

Analysis:

Verstappen would easily advance to Q3 but obviously get his toughest competition from Ferrari star, Charles Leclerc. He would put down a lap of 1:27.241 on the Miami circuit and beat Leclerc by one-and-a-half tenths to claim pole position. It was Verstappen's seventh-straight pole and 38th-career pole position. He'll be the man to beat Sunday in the Miami GP.
