F1 finalizes 2020 schedule with races in Turkey, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi
Formula 1 announced Tuesday the final races of the 2020 schedule, adding four Grand Prix events to conclude the season.
For the first time in nine years, F1 will race at the Istanbul Track in Turkey on Nov. 15.
Two races in Bahrain on Nov. 29 and Dec. 6 will follow the Turkish Grand Prix, with the season's final event set for Abu Dhabi on Dec. 13.
F1 also announced the Chinese Grand Prix won't run, bringing the total number of races in 2020 to 17. The organization said it plans to return to Shanghai in 2021.
"We can confirm that Turkey, Bahrain (hosting two races), and Abu Dhabi will be part of the revised season and want to express our thanks to the hard work of all our promoters and partners in making this 17-race season possible," F1 said in a statement.
