Look: Scratch near Gomez's eye visible after Sterling altercation
Liverpool defender Joe Gomez had a wound near his right eye when he took the pitch for England's training session on Tuesday. The scratch is believed to have occurred during an altercation with Raheem Sterling a day prior.

The England teammates were involved in a scuffle at St. George's Park on Monday that resulted in manager Gareth Southgate dropping the Manchester City winger for England's Euro 2020 qualifier against Montenegro on Thursday.
With tensions still high from Liverpool's 3-1 win over Manchester City at Anfield, it's reported that Sterling grabbed Gomez by the neck in a private section of the training facility.
The altercation appeared to be a continuation of the pair's heated exchange at the end of Sunday's encounter when they were involved in a shoving match.
But, according to Sterling's apology, the matter has been resolved. The two players returned to training Tuesday alongside their teammates.
