Twitter loved every minute of Real Madrid's meltdown against Ajax
The king is dead.
Real Madrid, the three-time defending Champions League holders, were unceremoniously bounced from the tournament by an exuberant Ajax side on Tuesday, falling 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu to cap a miserable week that has seen Los Blancos lose three consecutive matches at home.
Their 5-3 aggregate defeat to the Dutch side had Twitter ablaze.
