While he never played for the man, David Beckham clearly has a great amount of respect for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid player - whose son, Romeo, plays for the north London side's youth team - came to Wenger's defence on social media as fans begin their annual tradition of questioning the manager's position with the club.

Beckham responded to an Instagram post that asked whether a fan's banner calling for Wenger's dismissal was "disrespectful or truthful," to which Beckham replied: "Disgraceful ... No respect attention seekers."
