Spanish steps as Martinez goes viral with Derulo dance moves
London - Roberto Martinez found himself an unexpected social media sensation on Friday after footage emerged of the Everton manager showing off some dubious dance moves at a pop concert.
The video of Martinez dancing at a Jason Derulo gig in Manchester went viral as it was shared thousands of times by amused fans.
The 42-year-old Spaniard could have been forgiven for being a little sheepish when asked about his night out by reporters at a press conference on Friday ahead of Everton's Premier League clash at Stoke City this weekend.
But to his credit, Martinez responded in good natured fashion and admitted the video didn't capture his best dancing.
"I'm a big fan. It is always good to get inspiration from creative people," he said of top US pop star Derulo
"I have better moves believe me. Probably that (seen on the video) was the worst move."
