Chelsea has fired one of its stewards after video emerged of the man calling midfielder Cesc Fabregas a "snake" at Stamford Bridge earlier this season, according to Press Association.
The video shows the steward, in a florescent yellow vest, shouting the insult at Fabregas as he walked by with his bags.
"You're a snake, you're Arsenal," he said.
Fabregas spent the early part of his career with Arsenal (2003 to 2011). He also served as the Gunners captain after being appointed the role in 2008.
Chelsea, currently in 14th place in the table and looking for just its second league win with manager Guus Hiddink in charge, visits first-place Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
