Heurelho Gomes will travel back with his Watford teammates after being hospitalised with a neck injury.
A collision in the second half of Saturday's match at Aston Villa forced Gomes to leave the pitch on a stretcher in the 67th minute.
Manager Quique Sanchez Flores suggested in the post-match news conference that his goalkeeper, who also required a neck brace, had suffered a concussion.
Gomes was sent to the hospital for further treatment, but scans revealed no serious damage.
Watford held on to win 3-2.
