Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes went to the hospital with a neck injury following a collision in the second half of Saturday's match against Aston Villa, reports Sky Sports.
Gomes required a stretcher and an oxygen mask after running into Villa man Craig Cathcart in the 67th minute.
"I hope he's well, but at the moment we have to wait a little bit more," said manager Quique Sanchez Flores. "He received a kick in the head, at the moment he has concussion or something like this."
The Hornets will wait for the results of a scan to determine the full extent of the injury.
The incident forced a Premier League debut for Lithuanian Giedrius Arlauskis, who conceded an inconsequential goal from Jordan Ayew in a 3-2 win for Watford.
