Cheick Tiote: Could return for Liverpool match

Tiote (groin) is highly unlikely to play Saturday against Crystal Palace, but he could return Dec. 6 against Liverpool, the Newcastle Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Tiote suffered the injury last weekend against Leicester City and the initial fears were that he could miss a significant amount of time. The news turned out to be much better, though manager Steven McClaren will have to turn to Yoan Gouffran or Siem De Jong to replace Tiote this weekend.
