Sturridge out of Liverpool's game vs. Bordeaux with reported foot problem

Daniel Sturridge will not take the pitch Thursday when Liverpool welcomes Girondins de Bordeaux and attempts to punch its ticket to the Europa League's knockout phase.
The English forward, who was an unused substitute in Liverpool's thrashing of Manchester City on Saturday after missing more than a month due to a knee injury, was omitted from Jurgen Klopp's team sheet altogether.
While Sturridge's omission isn't completely surprising - he was only in contention to face Bordeaux - there may very well be reason to worry, as the Englishman is reportedly dealing with a fresh ailment.
Liverpool can secure a place in the Europa League's round of 32 with a victory against Bordeaux.
