Samir Nasri's attempt to overcome a hamstring injury took a turn for the worse after the French midfielder announced he'll be sidelined for the next three months.
The Manchester City midfielder took to Instagram to reveal the disappointing news, but vowed to make a successful return from the injury that's kept him out of action since October.
Nasri has only managed to appear in 10 matches this season for City, with his last appearance coming Oct. 17 against Bournemouth, when he reportedly picked up the injury despite finishing the match on the pitch.
Before the injury, Nasri was forced to miss a handful of matches because of a virus that affected him and other City players.
