Diego Costa leaves League Cup match vs. Stoke with apparent injury

Diego Costa can't do it on a cold, wet night at Stoke. In fairness to him, he never really got the opportunity.
The Chelsea striker left Tuesday's Capital One Cup match against Stoke City in the opening half, clutching what seemed to be his lower rib area after a collision with an opponent.
He was replaced by Loic Remy.
With Jose Mourinho reportedly on the hot seat after a miserable start to the season, losing his first-choice striker for any extended period of time could be too much of an obstacle for the Portuguese to overcome in his efforts to remain on the Chelsea touchline.
