New Tottenham signing Clinton Njie, who joined the club from Lyon on Saturday in a deal reportedly worth €14 million, is already endearing himself to the club's supporters.
In an interview with French newspaper L'Equipe, the 22-year-old attacker said he never considered joining bitter rival Arsenal, despite the Gunners showing interest in acquiring his services.
"I was never scared that my transfer to Tottenham would not be confirmed," Njie said, as translated by Eurosport. "I never spoke to Arsenal representatives on the phone, they simply contacted my agent. My choice was made, I was determined to join Tottenham."
The kid is on his way to becoming a fan favourite at White Hart Lane.
