Modou Barrow will be spending some time in the Championship.
Barrow has completed a three-month loan switch to Blackburn Rovers, Swansea City announced Monday. He'll join Gary Bowyer's side immediately.
The 22-year-old winger signed a new four-year contract in January and made his Swansea debut versus Arsenal last November. He went on to make 11 Premier League appearances for the Welsh club, 10 of which were as a substitute.
Blackburn is preparing to host Shrewsbury Town in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night, and Swansea has granted permission for Modou to play in the fixture.
