Kevin Mirallas became the latest Everton player to commit his future to the Merseyside club.

The Belgian international will continue to sport the famous blue jersey until 2018 after signing a new three-year contract, joining James McCarthy, who signed a new five-year contract a day earlier.

"I'm very happy to sign. I’ve signed at Everton to win a trophy. I’m at a good team and I can continue my performances here.

"Now I am very happy because I can concentrate on my team and our future, starting with the Premier League tomorrow."

Mirallas, entering his fourth season with Everton since joining them from Olympiacos in 2012, scored seven goals in 29 appearances last season.
