Report: Everton pursuing Xherdan Shaqiri from Inter Milan

Help could be on the way to Goodison Park as Everton manager Roberto Martinez scours the transfer market for at least three additional signings.
One of Martinez's new purchases might come from Italy with various reports linking Everton to a move for Inter Milan midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri.
The Spanish boss, however, wasn't willing to comment on specific players he prefers to acquire, the antithesis to Jose Mourinho's tactics of speaking publicly about Chelsea's interest in procuring the services of Everton defender John Stones.

Shaqiri would fit Martinez's requirements of obtaining a playmaker, with the Everton manager reportedly looking to add a central defender and striker as well.
Inter manager Roberto Mancini has reportedly made the 27-year-old Swiss international available on loan following his poor start to life in Milan.
Everton are the second Premier League team to be identified as an interested suitor for Shaqiri following Stoke City's failed attempt to bring him to the Britannia Stadium earlier in the summer.
