Watford announces signing of Steven Berghuis from AZ Alkmaar

The next chapter in Steven Berghuis' career is underway.
Watford announced its 10th signing of the summer Monday, as the 23-year-old winger completed a move to Vicarage Road from AZ Alkmaar, agreeing to terms on a four-year deal.

Berghuis - a product of the FC Twente youth system who can play on both the right flank and left flank - notched 11 goals and four assists through 22 Eredivisie appearances last season, establishing himself as one of the league's most prolific scorers.
