Van Persie's transfer to Fenerbahce seems imminent at this point, with the striker set to undergo a medical ahead of his move away from Old Trafford.
The Dutch international is expected to complete the first part of his medical in the coming days, as the Super Lig team and Manchester United have already reached an agreement on a transfer fee, according to Sky Sports.
Manchester United are expected to make £4.7 million once the move is made official, which would be a massive loss considering the reported £22.5 million they agreed to pay Arsenal in 2012.
Reports suggest Van Persie will sign a four-year deal with the club once the medical and other details are complete.
The move was reported last week by Emre Sarigul and Jamie Jackson of The Guardian, with Van Persie's agent, Kees Vos, in Istanbul to work out terms of a deal.
Vos subsequently denied the report.
The newest revelation, however, indicates Van Persie's three-year stay at Old Trafford is coming to an end.
