A never-ending list of devastating injuries has always left Arsenal supporters wondering what heights Abou Diaby could have reached.
Now they'll never know.
Arsenal ended their 10-year relationship with the French midfielder Wednesday when they announced that they will not renew his contract.
Although Diaby showed signs of developing into a talented contributor, his career was constantly interrupted by serious injuries that limited him to just 180 first-team appearances since his arrival in 2006.
Diaby joins Jack Jebb, Austin Lipman, Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill and Josh Vickers as players to see their careers at Arsenal come to an end.
