The Premier League's newest team have started to prepare for life in England's top flight.
AFC Bournemouth, fresh off their dramatic promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history, announced their agreement with Chelsea that will see Christian Atsu join the team on a season-long loan. The deal is subject to Premier League approval.
Since signing with Chelsea in 2013, Atsu has not appeared in a match for the Premier League champions.
His move to Bournemouth will be his third season out on loan following seasons with Vitesse and Everton.
He has, however, played an important role on the international stage with Ghana, most recently helping the nation reach the Africa Cup of Nations final where they lost to the Ivory Coast.
