Manchester City's Nasri leaves with apparent foot injury
Samir Nasri's day was over in the blink of an eye after the Manchester City midfielder was forced out of Sunday's match with an injury less than a minute after coming on.
Nasri, who replaced Frank Lampard with less than 20 minutes remaining against Tottenham, was taken off following a challenge from Federico Fazio. The Frenchman, visibly upset that his day was cut short, appeared to have injured his foot on the tackle.
His appearance only lasted 39 seconds before manager Manuel Pellegrini introduced Wilfried Bony into the fixture.
The club have yet to comment on the exact nature of the injury, as Nasri will likely undergo tests to determine the severity.
The injury puts the remainder of his season in doubt with only three matches remaining. He could potentially miss matches against Queens Park Rangers, Swansea City and Southampton.
