Wayne Rooney: (Knee) Could Miss Rest of Season
Rooney will miss the next two games because of an knee injury, and it could rule him out for the rest of the season, the Daily Mirror reports.
Analysis:
Rooney suffered the injury when he collided with teammate Ander Herrera last Sunday against Everton, and with only four matches left on the fixture list, it's possible Rooney will not have sufficient time to return. Robin van Persie, who scored twice for the U21 side Tuesday, could be pushed back into the starting XI in place of Rooney, with Falcao also a possibility.
