Liverpool renew shirt sponsorship deal with Standard Chartered Bank
Liverpool are sticking with Standard Chartered Bank as their shirt sponsor.
The club announced a new three-year agreement with the banking and financial services company, ensuring the company's logo will be displayed on its jersey until May 2019.
"The sponsorship of the Liverpool shirt is extremely prestigious and only five brands will have adorned the shirt in the 40 years since we created the sponsorship opportunity," Liverpool FC's chief commercial officer, Billy Hogan, said in a statement.
"At the end of this term we will have been working in partnership with Standard Chartered for almost a decade and we continue to collaborate on our shared values, passion and commitment to the community."
The new deal is reportedly worth £30 million per year for Liverpool, who began its relationship with Standard Chartered in 2010.
The news also comes after the Merseyside club signed a new sponsorship deal with New Balance.
